RMT General Grades Committee decision:
That we note the pay offer from Tube Lines for former Alstom staff at Stratford Market depot, and the report from our Regional Organiser. We accept our Regional Organiser’s recommendation that should the employer agree to proposed amendments to the wording of the offer, then it would be acceptable to us.
We note that the employer has made a two-year pay offer of 5.6% in Year 1 and RPI+0.5% (minimum 0.5%) in Year 2, and has agreed to set up a joint working party on harmonisation of terms, conditions and pay. We are seeking amendments to clarify that changes to rosters will be the subject of negotiations between management and union representatives.
This matter to be placed back in front of us when Tube Lines responds to our proposed amendments.
